BEAUTY TO FIGHT FOR.

I pulled up to some cheap ass gas station last night at 15th & U where most of DC cabbies fill up, there were three other cabs at the pump and two of them were yelling at each other, Sun cab #644 and Super cab #226, I didn't know what it was all about because they were screaming their lungs out in Ethiopian language (Amharic), since Washington has a large number of Ethiopian immigrants I managed to learn a few words but not to the extent to understand the yelling match. The word exchanges grew louder and louder and the next I know the driver of the Sun Cab started throwing punches at the other guy who is much bigger and kept running circles around the pumps to save his life, that was some funny shit to look at, it was like a script from the three stoogies, I couldn't stop laughing.

I managed to grab and hold the attacker while the driver of the Super Cab took off and drove away fast. I asked him what the fight was all about and he told me that the guy was giving his girlfriend, who is a bartender at an Ethiopian restaurant a hard time even after she told him she has a boyfriend, he said "he is lucky you saved him tonight next time he will be kissing my feet for mercy." He apologized and drove away.

Washington has tons of gorgeous Ethiopian chicks, and I think Ethiopian women are one of the most beautiful creatures in this planet, I don't blame them if they fought over one, but I don't think the driver of Super Cab# 226 put much of a fight besides running around in circles.

I wish I was in DC so I can run around in circles my damn self. DC chicks are not just ethiopian chicks, they are something special. I wish some of em move to the south. So we can shoot eachother over them

you ass, fighting over chicks is usual everywhere, its not because they are ethiopians or africans...civilization has nothing to do...so shut up!

There is nothing funny or uncivilized element in that, as said above. We daily hear and read about shootings over women in North America and Europe. That is what "man" means.Women also fight over a man. These are healthy human behaviours. I would worry or wonder had the report been about the same sex marriage in the Ethiopian community. Is this the first time the reporter observes a fighting over a woman? If he runs out of topics to write about, we can suggest many topics for him. It seems that he has nothing to do except fault finding in a community which is known for its hard work and law-abinding nature.
What a moral bankrupcy?

This is not English class.

Now about the fightn it is quite hilarious. I am planning to take this woman away from this dude. I love her and she loves me too but the dude is gigantic. I have been seeing her for a while and I don't know when we are going to get our freedom. Most of the time the big fat guys are the ones who scare the skiny onces and get the kind of woman they want and I am not going to let that happen. I won't give up on her. I have decided to actually move to a different city with her. I guess disapearing is the only way out unless of course if you some other advise

I have nothing but good things to say about Ethiopians and over the years I became friends with a lot of them. My blog "Beauty to die for" I don't think its offensive in any way. (not that I care, it's a free country) I just write what ever happens in my way as a cab driver.

So for some of you babies who sent me a bunch of hate mails, its time to grow up.
