OSCAR IN THE AIR

Let me get this out of the way first! the second date with Kate was full of fun but again nothing happened beside few make out session here and there, I am not going to lie to you and write about steamy love making episodes but sorry to disappoint you. I am invited back to Maine though, Is Maine in the United States? or do I need a passport to travel over there? Can someone please check and get back to me on that? I hear that there are not too many brothas in Maine!

Sorry for the disappearing act again! As you may know I am involved in a couple of homeless shelters in DC and Baltimore and this time of the year a lot of the volunteers go on vacation and we go short handed and I have been doing all kind of extra shit I don't even have time to fart!

On top of all this for the last few months some film producers got a hold of me and they want to do a documentary piece on taxi-cabs (I can't say in regards exactly about what at this time) for a major production company. So it's only talks at this point nothing concrete yet but lots of meetings and traveling, God! I feel sorry for you guys who have to sit in these kind of meetings all the time, they had to wake me up quite a few times whenever I doze off.

So already I am dreaming about the documentary winning a Grammy and...

"OSCAR! you idiot it's not a Grammy."

Whatever dude, all I know is some of the cab drivers like Lugosi getting jealous and pissed and throwing beer bottles at their TV sets when they see Mad Cabbie accepting his award from Halle Barry while squeezing her ass and making my typical rapper style acceptance speech.

"...I thank my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ who's been always there for me, I thank my Grandmother who raised me while my old man was in the joint for life, I thank my babies mamas all twenty three of you! I also want to thank the motherfucker who robbed me and decided not to shoot me about ten years ago, I would like to thank the redneck cracker who is also my best friend Pastor Joe for his spiritual guidance, I would like to thank Mr Ghost and Mr Hook for keeping my passengers happy during their time of needs, I also would like to thank the one legged hooker for keeping me busy running me around all over the place, finally I would like to thank all the cab drivers in the world who have the balls big enough to drive around fucken strangers in this twisted world of ours day in and day out, night in and night out and still making it home to your families and for those cabbies who didn't make home, rest in peace hommies!"

Please don't forget the homeless,

Mad Cabbie.

I'm glad you've decided to say hello. The documentary thing sounds interesting. I hope you get some money out of it.

Thanks Peggy, you don't make big bucks doing that kind of shit, in fact I heard that they're going to pay me in gift certificates and coupons!

Yo CrazyE, what's up brother? My agent was trying to hook me up with Ethiopian Airlines from Dulles but it's so hard to get a seat, even through Europe it's getting harder the days I wanted to fly...but you bet your life that I will be there CrazyE, even if I have to fly through Cambodia to get there! Ethiopian Airlines wants $1800 for the dates I don't want to fly but I would if no choices are available! My friend Girma and family are leaving on the 19th so we will see!

How are you John, To be honest with you, I really don't give a shit about the money than I do about the content of the message I am trying to have them focus on...

Yes, Maine is in the United States. However, it is an extremely dangerous and unpleasant place, populated by vampires, rabid dogs, evil spirits, pet cemeteries, and vengeful cars. Then again, everything I know about Maine is based on what I've read in Stephen King novels.

Oh, and my TV is used to me throwing beer bottles at it. I do that whenever Bush holds a press conference.

Mad, you don't have to fly out to Maine to have some action...I am just a phone call away...remember me at the DINER 18th street?

you ast "Is Maine in the United States?" Just barely.

take plenty of bug spray, sweaters, and a windbreaker. bug spray is especially important about sundown. those skeeters are voracious!

i hope she takes you to a nice little roadhouse made out of logs and knotty pine and that it sits right near the water somewhere. i hope you order a coupla lobsters with lotsa melted butter. i hope you have a fabulous time.

great oscar speech! u could even use it for the grammys if you sing it.

watch out for 41 and Bar...43's 'rents live up there. yikes!

welcome back!!!

Don't worry Lug I will have you as part of my entourage in Hollywood! BTW do you have your cab on the road yet?

Sweet Lips the phone number you gave me last time turned out to be a number for a funeral home or some shit, you teaser! but don't worry it's not the first time, once this hot chick gave me her number and it turned out to be some kind of a suicidal hot line!

LOL Peggy's mom we need to be as far away as possible from those two idiots (41&43) unfortunately we are stuck with 43 until 1/2009...But I do take your advice in case! Good to hear from you young lady!

You know, my cousin drove a cab for 10 years in San Francisco. And he made a documentary about it! Now he's a high school teacher in Oakland, but he didn't have big studio backing.

Glad you're doing well. Thanks for checking in.

Mad Cabbie said...

Your cousin is one of the few oneswho got out, usually cabbies don't change professions after being in the business for 10 years, it's addictive you know...and was the documentary distributed and is it still out there somewhere?

And we are glad to have the lovely Miss Jamy back from Israel!

I've been back on the road in Red Top 41 about a month now. Tried to keep the number 69, but it didn't work out.
I should be easy enough to spot. It's the only Dodge Magnum in either Red Top fleet.

By the way, are you still with Diamond? Keeping your cab # a secret, are you?

Yo Mad, check your email i have some travel tips for you regarding alternative fares..

Lug, Red Top 41, I will look out for you...I liked your old #69 though, that number reminds me of something but I forgot! I am still rolling with Diamond Cab Co. but my cab number is a highly classified information for now!

CrazyE I just got my ticket yesterday, I am flying Ethiopian Airlines all the way and I paid a little over $1500 thanks to a friend who managed to do it for me. I appreciate your help CrazyE!
