It is pretty funny Eryn, at the same time I felt kind of pretty sad for him and his kid even though it's just a stupid cartoon.
I agree Josh!
Sure Peggy, I can't wait to show this to Ali, he's a pretty sensitive guy you know.
Twoste, you're just another less travelled American who is full of it! I remember once you mentioned that you are a journalist who has been all over the world but I doubt that! If you understand history well it's just a matter of time that Americans will be driving cabs in China if we're lucky enough to get a visa! Did you know The Kingdom of Axum the present day Ethiopia was once a power broker nation? That's what you call the "laws of reverse world trending!" You see a cabbie can educate once in a while Twoste!
Madcabbie this is Diedra just wanted to say hi and thank you for your information
Here is a video along the same kind of theme -albeit with a not so happy of an ending as the Bombay cab driver. Hope you like it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d9UwUZIuPH0
Although I understoond twoste's comment differently. I thought it meant that Americans WOULD be driving Indians...law of reverse etc. Not that twoste was expecting Indians to be driving Americans. Already Americans are heading over to India for high tech jobs...
Mad, thanks to you and your blog I had another weird dream. I dreamt I lost my leg and became 'one-legged J-funk' but all I was really concerned about was who got my lost leg and whether they would notice how hairy it is. I woke up thinking "damn that mad cabbie got in my dreams again with his crazy blog". But now I'm kind of wondering what my subconscience was trying to tell me...
Thanks Diedra, I checked out that flick, that was cute and creative. I hope I was helpful so you can take care of business babe! and I will talk to you soon!
Anonymous, that Twoste dude is creepy, who knows what he wants to say!
One Legged J-Funk? I hope not...I think it's your sub trying to tell you to have a balance in your life and not to loose confidence. And what's up with the hairy leg J-Hippie-Funk?
Tell me about it John, and I have seen a few cab drivers doing the toe nail clipping thing inside their cab! You know when it's slow what else you are going to do?
I really enjoyed this cabbie cartoon. He's one of the good guys. Had to travel this weekend and the shuttle driver on the way home was driving like a maniac to make time. He also showed a lot of pride by not answering any questions from me. I was a bit miffed when I found out that J. had tipped him too well. Oh well.
